Ground Disturbance(Global supervisor 201) : ($ 200.00) This course is for companies that are involved with ground disturbance. Subjects would include offences and penalties, Legislation, OH & S Act Safety codes, Alberta Pipeline Act, and regulations, Incident notification, Damage prevention, Alberta One Call and locating buried facilities etc. Course is 8 hours

OSSA Fall Protection (Fall Group OSSA certified) : ($ 160.00) Various Fall Protection options exist, this course will identify which options best meet your needs, and give you the tools and knowledge to work at height safely.The course material is energetically delivered over a full day, that includes hands-on activities, video analysis, and focuses on student participation. H2S Alive (Provided by ENFORM) : ($ 157.14) **Due to Enform Book Prices going up in the new year our cost has also increased.** During this course students will learn how to work safely in and around hydrogen sulphide (H2S) environments. Topics in this course include; Physical properties of H2S, Health hazards of H2S, Protection from H2S, and basic rescue techniques. Students will also learn how to operate a self-contained breathing apparatus, and perform rescue lift and drag exercises. Course is 8 hours

Emergency First Aid (AB) : (Please Call For Price) In this one day course, students will learn how to recognize and provide interventions for life-threatening emergencies until medical aid arrives. This course covers; Level A CPR and choking for adults, shock and unconsciousness, severe bleeding, head & spinal injuries, major medical conditions, and AED training and certifications. The BC endorsement is available upon request for a fee of $30.00. This course is provided by St.Johns Ambulance. Course is 8 hours

Standard First Aid (AB/BC) : ($ 175.00) In this two day course, students will learn the course content covered in the Emergency First Aid course, as well as first aid for other injuries and illnesses including; head & spinal injuries and fractures of the upper and lower limbs. This course includes Level C CPR training and certification, adult, child, infant and 2-rescuer resuscitation. The BC endorsement is available upon request for a fee of $30.00. Workplace Hazard Materials Information System : ($ 80.00) This course covers suppliers, employers, employee's responsibilities, labels, MSDS and training requirements. In-house courses can be tailored to your company's needs. Course is 4 hours

National Safety Code : ($ 250.00) Alberta carriers that operate into other jurisdictions are designated as Federal and must comply with federal legislation. Under federal legislation, trucks or truck/trailer combinations registered for a combined weight of more than 4,500 kg must comply with NSC standards as implemented in Alberta. This includes farm plated vehicles that travel outside Alberta. Throughout this program the student will become educated on this information. Course is 6 hours

Commercial Drivers Hours of Service & Fatigue Management : ($ 150.00) Federal Hours of Service is a course designed to provide professional drivers with the knowledge and skill to correctly complete their log books. Participants study transportation regulations as it pertains to hours of service and how to properly record that service. This course also explains the impact of fatigue, and strategies to prevent it. This course meets the criteria set out by the Alberta Department of Transportation. Provincial Hours of Service can be provided upon request. Course is 8 hours

Air Brake Endorsement : ($ 250.00) In this course you will learn about the braking fundamentals, the components of the air brake system and how they work. This course will show participants how to test and maintain the system for proper function. In addition the instructor will teach the participants how to react and deal with system failures. In the practical portion the student will learn the proper procedures for daily air brake maintenance. Upon completion of course the students will be given a practical exam. Practical exam may need to be carried over to the following day to complete. Once course is completed, student must then pass a written Air Brakes exam through a licence registry. Course is 8 hours

North American Load Securement Course : ($ 110.00) This course will educate the student on safely load and secure specific types of commodities, how to inspect a secured load for compliance with the North American Cargo Securement Standard. If you follow the requirements in the North American Cargo Securement Standard, you will be in compliance with provincial (Canada) and Federal (US) regulations. Course is 4 hours

Fire Extinguisher : ($ 120.00) This hands-on course is intended to give shop, field and office workers a basic understanding of fire safety and the use and limitations of fire extinguishers. The course includes a classroom session as well as hands-on practical training. Certificate is issued with successful completion of practical session and written exam. Course is 4 hours

Bear Awareness : ($ 60.00) This course provides guidance for pre-planning before you enter bear country and on-site situations. It was created to provide the most recent available information on bear avoidance for members of the public and industry alike. This program provides direction on how best to handle the situation using the knowledge and experiences of experts from the field. It provides students with the knowledge to recognize potentially dangerous situations and the understanding of the best methods to diffuse these hazardous situations. Course is 3 hours

Problem Wildlife & Bear Awareness : ($ 125.00) This course covers bears, moose, cougars, snakes, scorpions, ticks, bees and poisonous plants. Course is 4 hours

Confined Space Basic Entry/Rescue : ($ 165.00) Level I gives the student knowledge of confined space entry and Level II gives the student the rescue aspect. This program is designed for people working in confined areas and the many life threatening hazards that could potentially come along with working in a confined space. Students will learn government regulations in regards to entering and doing work in confined spaces. Each student will wear the proper safety gear including a respirator in the practical part of this course under the supervision of the instructor. Course is 8 hours

Transportation of Dangerous Goods : ($ 75.00) Covers classes and divisions of TDG, Labeling, Markings on packages and containers, Documentation, Placarding, Packaging, Responsibilities, and reporting dangerous occurrences. Course is 4 hours

ATV/UTV Rider Course : ($ 225.00) training program operated by Green Seal certified instructors. The curriculum, which is based on field-tested techniques, provides a fun and orderly way to learn proper ATV/UTV operation. The rider learns about controls, reading terrain, turning and climbing hills. Requirements for course: Student will need to provide their own ATV/UTV. Please NO Trikes. If possible, bring owner's manual for ATV/UTV, Students are responsible for all fuel, oil, etc. PPE required: Ankle support footwear (no runners/sandals), Long pants and shirt, Gloves, Safety glasses/goggles, Motorcycle helmet (DOT approved or SNELL approved). All PPE must be in good condition Course is 7 hours

Petroleum Safety Training : ($ 120.00) This online computer course is a multimedia program with video, audio, and interactive lessons designed for workers in the petroleum industry. Course covers regulations, hazard recognition and control, Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), WHIMS and safe work procedures. PST meets all of the requirements of General Safety Orientation (GSO). Course is 4 hours

Gas Detection and Control : ($ 155.00) In this course the student will learn about gas detection and control, and will gain a basic knowledge of the practical application of gas detection technology. Course includes lecture and hands on training for gas detection equipment. Chain Up Training : ($ 110.00) This program will teach you the proper way to install your chains on light duty and heavy duty vehicles. We will cover the different types and usages as well as different ways to repair. Course is 4 hours

Fit testing : (Please Call For Price) Respiratory Fit Testing Any person who is required to wear a tight fitting face piece during the course of their normal day to day work duties, or any person who is required to wear a tight fitting face piece for emergency response activities should be fit tested to ensure an effective seal. Both qualitative (QLFT) and quantitative (QNFT) respirator fit testing protocols are CSA approved, however given the stakes and superior results, we highly recommend QNFT Course is 0 hours

Basic Chainsaw Safety : ($ 240.00) This is a Basic Chainsaw safety course that will cover appropriate provincial & federal legislation, due diligence, types of chainsaws,parts, safety features, precautions and maintenance. We will also talk about PPE, working techniques,equipment inspections, limbing & bucking. This is designed for people using chain saws at home,quading, camping and on jobsites. NOT FOR LOGGERS AND FELLERS. A practical in safe operation is included and students must have a chainsaw in good working order and proper PPE. Course is 6 hours

Fall/AWP Combo (12hr) : ($ 275.00) This program is the same as the OSSA Fall Protection and our Ariel Work Platform course. just offered together for a 12 hour day discounted. All same course requirements needed. Course is 12 hours

Enhanced First Aid : ($ 215.00) This course is a continuation of Standard First Aid that people becoming Instructors, EMR, or higher level of training are required to take. Course is 8 hours

Avalanche Safety : ($ 400.00) The AST 1 license to ride in avalanche terrain! This is a certified 2 day course. It includes fundamental awareness of necessary terrain and snowpack characteristics that form avalanches. The classroom portion will take place over the course of two back to back evening sessions at Hi Volt Safety in Grande Prairie, AB. The field day will apply those skills acquired in the class and apply them in a hands on practical approach while in the field once the snowpack has a metre or more of snow on the ground. The field day options include Kakwa, Tumbler Ridge Chetwynd and Pine Pass areas and ussually we provide 12 different AST field date options in the winter. SO we should be able to get you trained provided you can make one of the 12 different date options work with your schedule Course is 8 hours
